My youngest daughter was complaining that I didn't put a pic up of her room so here it is.  I hope this makes her happy.  She should be as I am in the middle of repainting her new room in our new house.  I will post some pics of that when I am done.

What a bargain

Well yesterday was a very good day I managed to pick up a complete 1920's dining room set that included the buffet and the hutch. It is in pretty rough shape but with a little love they will look beautiful. I will post some pics as soon as I have them.

We where talking to a dear friend (hello Dave) last night and all he kept saying was don't paint it....
I may get an appraiser out to give me an idea of the value before I touch it.

First time blogger

Hi everyone this is a first for me, I have been reading other peoples blogs and thought it might be fun to have one of my own. I am in interior decorator but at the moment I am unable to work due to the immigration process in Canada. I am keeping myself busy by slowly decorating the rooms in our rental property, as I finish each room I will post a before and after shot. I love everything to do with decorating and at the moment I am hooked on the shabby chic look which is a huge leap from the modern contemporary house we had before.

I am looking at reinventing old pieces of furniture and will keep you up to date with my progress.

Anyway I won't bore you too much today hopefully I will have some pics of my first piece's for A Second Look.
